Shooting of Bobi Wine’s driver: Journalists missing

Journalists who were at the scene from where Bobi Wine’s bodyguard was shot dead are missing.

NTV Uganda is in a search for its journalist, Herbert Zziwa who reported about the shooting in Arua.

“There was a scuffle as our reporter @zziwaherbert reported this story, and we can’t find him. All is being done to ensure that he is found,” NTV tweeted about an hour back.

And an hour later, the head of NTV news desk, Maurice Mugisha has tweeted that the reporter is still missing.

“We still don’t know the whereabouts of our reporter @zziwaherbert and correspondent Ronald Muwanga who were covering the scuffle at Pacific Hotel.”

NBS TV cameraperson has also been hospitalised from injuries sustained from the scuffle.

Bobi Wine’s driver has been shot dead this evening by allegedly police. The musician-turned-politician is in Arua to campaign for Kassiano Wadri who is contesting for MP Arua municipality.
